The
original theatre was built on the current site and opened in 1885, was
refurbished and enlarged in 1928, to become the Winter Gardens and again
refurbished, with assistance from the National Lottery Fund, in 1997 into the
wonderful facility that exists today. The Malvern Theatre Complex comprises the
800-seater Festival and Forum Theatres and a 400-seat Cinema.
The Theatre complex is only a few minutes walk from the Pembridge Hotel along a fairly flat road.
